The bed in our private room was really comfy and we had a great night's sleep. The shared bathroom and kitchen were well-equipped and had all the amenities we needed. the location of the hotel was perfect, right on the camino and convenient for pilgrims. Another advantage was the option to wash our clothes, which was really helpful after a long day of walking.
It was a shame to see this lack of consideration for the staff who work hard to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone.

I recently stayed at a private albergue for pilgrims in Caminha called Bom Caminha. The building itself is stunning and well-maintained, with a lovely little garden at the back offering a great view of the town. The owner, Vani, was extremely helpful and welcoming, even going above and beyond by transporting my backpack to the next hostel when I left. The location is perfect, situated near the center of the town and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private room I had was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with a view of the water. The communal garden and lounge areas were also a nice touch. The kitchen was fully equipped and even offered a pilgrim meal. It's clear that Bom Caminha is well set up for walkers on the Camino, with its facilities and amenities tailored to their needs. Additionally, the albergue had a later check out time compared to others, which was incredibly helpful. one of the best albergues I've stayed in, and I highly recommend it!
Didn't dislike anything about the property. 😊
